We are looking to recruit a Yard Operative to join our Knowsley Site. You will be a key link to the depot by being responsible for processing instructions received from the Supervisor as requested, ensuring quality, safety, security, and minimising wastage.

**Key Responsibilities & Duties**
- Ensure all equipment loaded onto vehicles is correctly counted and have the appropriate documentation.
- Ensure all work carried out at the depot and on site is done in the most efficient manner taking the company, customers and H & S regulations into consideration.
- Ensure any defective plant and equipment are reported immediately.
- Ensure all tasks and targets allocated by the depot manager and depot supervisor are completed accurately and within the timeframe allocated.
- Cleaning and repairing our internal hoarding system.
- Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed as requested ensuring all special instructions are adhered to.
- Ensure all work carried out at the depot and on site is done in the most efficient manner taking the company, customers and H & S regulations into consideration.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately noting any discrepancies.
- Provide assistance with all yard duties as and when required.
- Ensure the integrity of the company is maintained at all times when dealing with customers, suppliers and all internal staff.
- Ensure all daily vehicles checks are conducted reporting any defects immediately.
- Ensure all drivers documentation, tacho’s etc. are completed as per the appropriate regulations and companies policies.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Self motivated
- Able to work as part of a team
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the role
- Understand the importance of deadlines
- High levels of Health and Safety standards.
- forklift experience is an advantage
- Driving Licence

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £11.50 per hour
