**Overview**

As a Junior Trader, you will be responsible for assisting in the development of the Sportsbook product through accurate odds compiling, sophisticated client profiling and assured risk management. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Trading department offers our customer base a best-in-class trading proposition.

**Responsibilities**
- Execute trading and risk management strategy (pre-match and live betting monitoring and compiling) for multiple sports and betting environments.
- Monitor bets and odds to control liabilities.
- Statistical data analysis, evaluation and reporting when required.
- Accurate profiling of clients to maximise revenue and reduce risk.
- Pricing, building and settlement of special ‘Enhanced Odds’ markets.
- Liaising with the company’s B2B suppliers to ensure that EEG offers a best-in-class customer experience and sports betting proposition.
- Dealing with customer queries that go beyond the scope of the customer service team.
- Keeping up to date with current sporting events.

**Requirements**:

- Understanding and experience of online sportsbook platforms
- Passionate about sport and the sports betting industry
- Excellent knowledge of Football and/or Horse Racing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent analytical skills
- Competency in Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Can work under pressure and is driven to succeed
- Excellent decision-making skills
- Good customer service skills
- Willingness to learn
- Highly numerate
- Previous experience in the betting industry
