I am excited to bring to the market an excellent HR Advisor opportunity with a public sector organisation, based in Manchester city centre. This is a full time role working 36 hours per week, on a hybrid basis. This role will be working on a Temporary basiswith a view to become Permanent after 6 months.
As a HR Advisor, you will be responsible for supporting Business Partners and advising managers on non-complex casework and employee relations issues. You will also ensure all relevant HR information is maintained, as well as continuously improving policiesand procedures.
The HR Advisor will focus on:
- Provide investigation support on conduct, grievances, attendance matters
- Arrange and attend formal meetings and hearings
- Provide guidance to managers relating to absence management, coordinating Occupational Health Referrals, phased returns and reasonable adjustments
- Resolve employee queries relating to sickness, maternity and paternity leave and flexible working
