We work in partnership with Central and Local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs. At Mears Living, we work with more than 50 Local Authority partners and manage around 6,000 properties across the UK. We are trusted to provide homes for some of the most vulnerable people in the UK on behalf of our partners and through our own landlord business and registered providers - Plexus and Omega Housing. Over the past 12 months we have created our own "in house" repairs and maintenance team who work across the UK to provide a first-class service to our customers. What we are looking for: We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our rapidly expanding team to work, within a busy environment. You will supporting the supervision activities and requirements of our Housing Management operations, ensuring all supervisory procedures are being undertaken efficiently in compliance with Company operating procedures, deliver best in class customer service, whilst satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards relating to budget, profitability and resource deployment. What you need to have: - Supervision of contract activities, ensuring maximum productivity, profitability and satisfaction through effective resource utilisation & planning - Manage day to day operations and attend site meetings - Monitor work delivery, progression & completion via ongoing site visits to ensure works are adequately resourced, are being effectively delivered to set quality standards, completed on time and within budgets - Oversee sub-contractors - Compiling management reports on operational activities, initiatives, and performance - Ensure compliance and adherence to H&S regulations, Celtic standard operating procedures, Celtic values and quality assurance accreditations - Demonstrate, maintain and monitor the company’s commitments to best practice with legislation, codes of practice & good working practices relevant to all work activities - Ensure the customer experience is central to all activities by adopting a professional manner when communicating with all stakeholders, this includes but not limited to, appearance, company ID, maintaining a high standard of health & safety requirements - Manage employees’ performance, coach and develop individuals in their roles, ensuring HR Policies & Procedures are followed, implement individual or group training where required - Monitor and maintain all supplied company assets, including operatives’ vans, van stocks, material purchases, tools, plant hire, uniform and PPE.
