Established in 2007, the group now operates 5 farm shops, cafes and kitchens. Our shops offer easy access to; fresh local produce and the best staple and culinary delights. Our flagship stores have a restaurant / café and Cobbs Farm Shop has its own production kitchen, which provides freshly made produce for the rest of our sites. The group continues to grow both at its established shops and with new shop openings, centred in South East England within the next few years.

**The Job**

As a Deli Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

- Managing the daily operations of the deli, including opening and closing, making fresh goods daily, stock control and staff management.
- Supervising and motivating a team of sales assistants, ensuring they deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
- Training new staff members and scheduling shifts, as well as providing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Working closely with the shop manager and other supervisors to achieve the shop's goals and objectives.
- Opening and Closing our site, and cash handling.

To be a successful Deli Supervisor at Advert, you will need:

- Previous experience in a similar customer-focused retail environment, preferably in the food retail industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with customers and staff at all levels.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
- A flexible approach to work, with the ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.

**What's in a day?**

A day at Cobbs is one of hard work, variety and excellent customer care. You must be able to multitask, as we are a small team, and it really is all hands-on deck. You will be expected to help in other areas of the café when needed and manage your teams effectively

**What sort of hours will I work?**

The role of supervisor is full time; between 38 hours per week over 5 days. We run 8/9 hour shifts at Cobbs Farm Shop, but these shift patterns will sometimes have to increase during busier times like Christmas, Easter and bank holiday weekends. You will be expected to work weekends, but we always endeavor to ensure it is not all weekend, every weekend. This can change when holiday cover is needed. You will be responsible for forecasts and rotas.

**What qualifications / experience do I need?**
- A proven track record in a similar environment
- Sales flair
- Leadership skills
- Big charisma so you can chat easily with customers
- Enthusiasm for sales
- Experience at a Senior Supervisor or manager is essential.
