Sheridan Maine are working on an exclusive basis with our client to recruit for a Management Accountant to join their team in Poole.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role in the team preparing the management accounts pack for the group.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for companies within the group
- Assisting with the quarterly VAT returns
- Authorising bank payments
- Assisting with the annual budget and audit process
Updating the fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliation
- Accruals and prepayments
- Daily cashflow updates
- Preparing and posting monthly journals

To be considered you should have the following:

- Strong accounting skills
- Previous experience in a Management Accounting role
- Part qualified and currently studying towards the ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualifications
- The ability to develop and maintain successful working relationships
- Intermediate Excel skills

You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
