**Software Developer**

AFI Group is a leading provider of powered access and rental equipment in the UK and the Middle East. We are looking for a Software Developer to help develop and maintain a range of in-house systems.

We are looking for someone who is dedicated to delivering industry-leading digital products to our customers, which will enable self-service, information access, and improved customer experiences. You will be eager to streamline processes and increase productivityby developing internal tools.

**What You Will Be Doing**
- Work closely with stakeholders to translate business challenges into solutions
- Enhancing existing features and developing new ones
- Making recommendations for improvement and implementing them
- Collecting and evaluating feedback from users
- Debugging and troubleshooting software

**Essential Skills** **Requirements**
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or a similar position
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. JavaScript, PHP, Classic ASP) and frameworks/systems (e.g. Laravel, Git)
- Knowledge of relational databases, particularly MS SQL
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting skills
- Possess a valid driver's license and be prepared to travel
