**Some of your responsibilities will include**:

- Support the business (commercial/finance teams) on duty reporting for goods bought from a non-UK source in order to ensure impacts to costs of goods are understood
- Completion of operational import activities working with stakeholders to continuously improve workflow, processes and procedures in line with AEO, industry or business changes
- Work with freight partners and suppliers to ensure all import documentation and freight invoices are provided in a timely fashion
- Delivery of freight and duty reporting in accordance with internal requirements, including process improvement/ simplification
- Delivery of freight spend management reporting, identifying where costs saving opportunities arise with the imports team
- Support the Imports training requirements for Supply Chain and Commercial colleagues including new starters with key focus on mandatory standing data requirements for supplier and product
- Inform commercial finance on cost discrepancies on expected payments vs. actual to allow for correct forecasting of business margins
- Monthly reconciliation of freight partner invoice statements, resolving missing invoices and charging queries
- About You

**We're looking for someone who has**:

- Understanding of customs protocols/procedures and regulatory requirements
- Understanding of food or retail management, supply chain and store operations
- Ability to manage your own workload to a consistent high standard following procedures and deliver work to an excellent and compliant standard
- Strong planning and organisational skills to prioritise own work and deadlines alongside the needs of the wider team and business
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Experience of customs protocols/ procedures and appropriate industry qualifications preferable
- Systems - Knowledge of Oracle ORMS, EBS, Rubicon, Customs interfaces and carrier visibility tools would be an advantage
