We have a new opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team within Vistry Housebuilding East Midlands, at our Peterborough office. As our Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for for managing all costs relating to New Build Residential Developments.Your focus is to minimise the costs of a project and enhance margin and value for money, whilst still achieving the required standards and quality.

- HNC in Surveying or Construction or equivalent
- Experience of working within the Construction industry for a residential housing developer, specifically on new build developments
- Excellent IT, analytical and communication skills
- Strong mathematical ability
- Ability to assess and analyse information
- Good understanding of budget management
- Negotiation and networking skills
- COINs user experience
- Able to work within a busy team and under pressure
- Accurate with an eye for detail
- A methodical approach

**More about the Quantity Surveyor role**
- Collating and issuing tender packs for sub-contractor work packages
- Negotiation and Analysis of Sub contractor tender returns
- Producing tender analysis for sub contract work packages
- Completion of Sub Contract orders and variations
- Subcontract payments, variations and final accounts
- Completing Monthly CVRs and cost reporting
- Cost reporting and budget control
- Attending site project meetings
- Responsible for project lead with HA, including prepare and issue monthly HA valuations, cash flow forecasts, key date trackers
