**Care Assistant - The Role**:
We are looking for hard working, dedicated, kind people who will go the extra mile for our residents to join the night shift care team. Northlands Nursing Home in Morpeth supports up to 39 older people with dementia and nursing care needs. We want someone who is kind and caring and is committed to making Northlands a ‘home from home’ for our residents

**Care Assistant - Responsibilities**:
As a care assistant your main duties are to assist in the provision of care to our residents in accordance with their care plan. This will involve working as a team in assisting residents with daily tasks such as with meals, personal care, providing one-to-one support and encouraging independence.

You will assist with the night time routine including performing regular checks on residents and providing any assistance required as set out in the care plan.

**Care Assistant - Experience, qualifications & skills**:
We are looking for the following personal attributes for the post of **Care Assistant**:

- A Kind and Caring personality
- Elderly care experience is beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and work colleagues
- Work well as part of a team
- Satisfactory DBS Check and two references

**Experience of the following an advantage**: Care Assistant, Care Worker, Support Worker, Social care
