**Role: New Business Development Manager (sustainability / net zero)**
**Location:Homebased with 1 day a month in Northwest office**
**Salary: £55k + £80k OTE + Company car or allowance**
**Summary**:
**Key responsibilities**:
- Qualify prospects and generate new opportunities
- Planning, preparing, and attending client meetings
- Maintain strategic account development plans for the top 10% of prospects
- Crafting presentation decks
- Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
- Preparing formal proposals and negotiating/landing deals
- Networking and developing relationships with potential partners and introducers
- Each opportunity is reported on timely and accurately & update pipeline report
- Provide monthly sales report
- Play an active role in ensuring targets and KPI?s are achieved
- Highlight opportunities for business development and research
- Engage with the wider team to identify opportunities for business growth
**Skills and experience required**:
- A background in selling technical energy solutions or asset sales
- A solid background in selling successfully to businesses
- Understand key customer drivers and funding options for on-site generation, energy efficiency and de-carbonisation projects
- Demonstrable evidence of pipeline management that delivers and exceeds targets
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Self-Motivated & Ambitious with the ability to work effectively under pressure
- Commercially astute with a track record delivering to growth targets
- Ability to manage own timetable and meet deadlines
