We are currently looking for a Materials Planner to join our team on a full-time basis and co-ordinate our materials delivery.
**The Role**
As a Materials Planner, you will work as part of our Supply Team to manage and plan the delivery of materials to support our manufacturing processes.
Collaborating with the Sales Team, Product Managers and Supplier Management, you will develop a weekly demand forecast and communicate requirements to external suppliers. You will recommend strategic materials purchases to manage supply risk.
You will report and update our Customer Service Team with material delivery issues which may compromise on-time delivery, as well as interfacing with the Supplier Manager, Development and Suppliers to resolve material supply issues.
Additionally, you will:

- Monitor component real-time availability across all products, current stock, EOL and obsolescence
- Provide and update information relating to supply threats and opportunities
- Ensure purchase orders are acknowledged by suppliers
- Identify and work to resolve supply and/or demand imbalance
**About You**
To be considered as a Materials Planner, you will need:

- Experience within the manufacturing industry
- Exceptional materials planning skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and customer service skills
- The ability to work as a team
- An NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration or evidence of equivalent and practical experience
