**Hybrid - within Southampton Area**
**Full time, permanent**
**Salary: £30-36k DOE
**Our client, ColourBlaze Ltd is a leading provider of high-quality, innovative pigment and paint solutions. They are dedicated to bringing vibrant colour and creativity to commercial, industrial, and designer spaces. Their commitment to sustainability, performance, and customer satisfaction has made them a trusted partner in the construction industry.
They are now looking for a dynamic and result-driven **Stock Controller** to join their team in Southampton, Hampshire.
**Stock Controller**, the role:
- Taking daily orders from customers and ensuring their requirements are met in a fast and efficient way
- Communicating with the warehouse and distribution team - looking after stock movement
- Invoicing and building strong relationships with clients
- Ordering stock, negotiating price with suppliers, setting sales prices
- Upselling and account development
- Looking for new clients via referrals and industry knowledge (during quieter periods)
**Stock Controller**, the person:
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Keen desire to learn and retain information
- Innovative, enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and proactive, with exceptional attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work autonomously and be in charge of your own success
- You must be physically fit and be able to move heavy bags about
Desirable:
- Experience of using Xero, Excel and stock systems
- Construction or buildings materials background
**Stock Controller**, the benefits:
- 20 days of Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays (increasing to 25 days P/A after 1 year)
- Working hours are - 7.30am to 4.30pm and Fridays finish by 12.00 (noon)
- Hybrid model of working - you will need to visit the warehouse and office regularly, so must be within a 10-mile radius of Southampton, if you wish to work from home
