Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge in Family Law?
My client, a well-established private practice Law firm based in the East Midlands are looking for an experienced Family Solicitor to join their offices in Nottingham as Head of Department.
**The Role**:As the successful Family Solicitor, you will have a range of responsibilities, which will largely involve supervising and managing the Family department, which is made up of fee earners and support staff.
Additionally, you will also have your own caseload to manage of Private and Public matters, which may include:

- Divorce
- Matrimonial
- Finance
- Care proceedings
- Legal Aid

**About you**:To be suitable for this position, you will be able to demonstrate strong experience of working in Family Law and be able to run matters independently. Ideally, you will have experience across both Private and Public Family Law, however, the firm are interestedin hearing from individuals who may have specialised in one area but is willing to learn.
It would be advantageous if you have supervisory or management experience but isn’t a pre-requisite. Excellent opportunity for a current Head of Department or a senior solicitor looking to make their next step
The position is likely suited to legal professionals with 5+ years PQE in Family Law.
