**Our Vacancy**:
The Senior Cost Controller is a critical role within our Offshore Business focussing on the delivery of substantial project cost controls within offshore projects, working with multinational and multi-functional team ensuring that SPR’s/ Iberdrola position is suitably protected at any agreements.

In this role you’ll be responsible for development, maturing and analysis of the Project overall budget and costs.

**What You'll Do**:
In this role, you’ll manage and accurately assess a large volume of information, identifying opportunities and early warnings on any potential deviation.

Some key responsibilities will include:

- Implementing & maintaining the offshore business cost management control system/process and reporting on estimates, expenditures and cost commitments accurately.
- Liaising with 'Procurement' and/or ‘Package Managers/Budget Holders’ to determine committed expenditure and update/interrogate current budget assumptions.
- Liaising with the ‘Project Manager’, ‘Project Planner’, ‘Risk Manager’ and “Change Manager” to understand project issues and anticipate (and mitigate) their impact on the project's budget.
- Supporting the month-end Value of Work Done (accruals/prepayments) process and compiling on a quarterly basis the project's VoWD plan/forecast and explaining monthly any deviations from such forecast.
- Preparing and reviewing project cost reports providing details on progress, actuals, forecast and explanation of variances, schedules updates and overall project dashboards and assemble data to consolidate.
- Creating and maintaining WBS structures and AO’s.
- Purchase Requisition /Order Approval (from a cost control perspective, i.e. coding and budget), Commitment Reporting / Closing Down PO’s;

**What You'll Bring**:
You’ll have a strong understanding of financial, commercial, and business principles and risk mitigation practices as well as considerable experience in reporting and data analysis.

You’ll be capable of communicating information clearly to inter-department stakeholders both internally and externally and will have a natural ability to influence at various organisational levels.

You’ll be highly experienced with Excel, SAP, Microsoft Office and additional Document Management Systems.
