TML is a specialist intermediary-only mortgage lender that provides products and criteria that meet the needs of borrowers who are not served by the high street.

**The Role & Responsibilities**

This is a Hybrid role based on home and our Glasgow office. The Product Data Specialist (PDS) will
support the activities of a team of Product Leads in the Glasgow office.
- Support the Product Leads in their function to develop market leading customer
- propositions and products via the provision of competitor and market data. This will be done
- by utilising the relationships with providers of such data to maximise the value to TML but
- also by conducting primary research where necessary.
- Conduct timely and in-depth reporting of existing product performance in a way that will
- help identify changes required. Be able to present and summarise information to inform and
- educate the wider TML business.
- Maximise the visibility of current product and propositions via pricing and criteria sourcing
- systems. Both for new launches but also on an ongoing basis.
- Conduct timely competitor benchmarking on both price and criteria benchmarking
- Support new product and proposition development with the provision of competitor
information, both in terms of pricing (as mentioned above) but to also be the go to source
for competitor differentiators and USPs - such as service levels or processing.
- Support the product development roadmap with relevant and timely market research.
- Deep dive available data sources to produce meaningful market and product insights to help
guide the direction of travel for the Product Team.
- Work closely with senior colleagues to ensure product performance is accurately and
regularly reported and interrogated.
- Liaise with sourcing systems, and market aggregators to maximise visibility

**The Person**
- Experience in financial services (preferably within a customer focused
mortgage lending)
- Experience supporting Product Leads
- Demonstrate customer focus in previous roles
- Analytical skills - supremely data driven and analytically driven.
- Demonstrable experience of analytics methods and comparison activity
