We're looking to recruit a Financial Risk Actuary to join our clients Asset Management Risk Team; The Financial Risk Actuary will have responsibility for ensuring market risks for the shareholder funds are managed within acceptable risk appetite limits.
**What we're looking for**: You will ideally be a qualified Actuary however an individual that's nearly qualified will be considered.
You will have a background either in an actuarial or investment function with a life insurer and an understanding of asset liability management and investing for good shareholder outcomes. Good knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing insurance companies, in particular those relating to investments would also be key.
A good understanding of Solvency II and Matching Adjustment Portfolios in particular would also be required.
