**Job Summary (Description of main purpose of job)**

To support the Service in providing high standards of care and quality of life. In particular to provide high quality support and promote independence in all aspects of daily life to people in their own homes, in training, in employment and in leisure activities.
- A positive attitude to people with a disability
- Good verbal communication skills and ability to listen sensitively to others
- The ability to support people to make informed choices about their daily lives
- Good reading and writing skills, with an ability to keep accurate and detailed records
- Willingness to support service users with domestic tasks, such as cooking, cleaning and shopping
