What You’ll Do

As a Supply SEND Teaching Assistant, you’ll:

- Provide tailored one-on-one or small group support to students with SEND, including autism, ADHD, sensory impairments, or physical disabilities.
- Support teachers in delivering inclusive, differentiated lessons in mainstream or specialist settings.
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies.
- Foster a positive, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assist with personal care, mobility, or sensory needs where required.
- Adapt to different schools and year groups, bringing empathy and enthusiasm.

Who We’re Looking For
- **Experience**: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or SEND Support Worker, ideally with knowledge of autism, ADHD, or other SEND conditions.
- **Qualifications**: A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, NVQ in Supporting SEN, or equivalent) is highly desirable but not essential.
- **Skills**: Strong communication, patience, adaptability, and a passion for supporting children with SEND.
- **Requirements**: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and the right to work in the UK. Training in Team Teach, Makaton, or PECS is a bonus.
