CNC Miller

We are seeking a CNC Machinist to assist with the planned workload in our machine shop. The successful applicant will work to engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture components to the specified standard and quality under the supervision of the machine shop Team leader.

**Responsibilities**:

- Producing high precision components within Engineering tolerances
- Ability to read, understand Engineering drawings and specifications
- Set-up and running of variety of CNC Machining centres
- Directly involved in Continuous Improvement Programs, Quality control and 6S
- Ensure all tasks undertaken are performed in accordance with Company requirements (best practice)
- Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary
- Adhere to Company HSE policies

**Requirements**:

- Recognised Engineering apprenticeship with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
- Good understanding of Machining techniques
- Well organised and dependable
- Ability to use CMM Inspection equipment with the ability to analyse results
- Knowledge of Aerospace requirements
- Competent in the set-up and operation of CNC Milling machines
- Ability to establish and develop relationships and be a good Team player
- Experience in Fanuc, Hiedenhein, Siemens and Okuma Control systems

**Salary**: £22,674.00-£32,631.00 per hour
