**Pay**:£27,144 per annum, based on experience (_40 hours per week_).

Sunhill Day Nursery Colchester, nestled within the serene grounds of Braiswick Primary School, is a purpose-built nursery that utilises eco-friendly building technology. We are proud to provide a secure and stimulating environment where children thrive through play and exploration. Our setting has three age-appropriate rooms designed to support children’s learning and development, all with access to our expansive outdoor areas that include a sensory garden, climbing apparatus, mud kitchen, and a bug hotel famously known as ‘Buggingham Palace’ at Colchester nursery. Conveniently situated just 5 minutes from the A12 and a brief 10-minute walk from Colchester North Station, Sunhill Day Nursery Colchester is nestled within the grounds of Braiswick Primary School on Apprentice Drive, off Bergholt Road.

**What being a Nursery Room Leader involves**

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will work alongside the Nursery Manager to lead and inspire your team while delivering exceptional care and education. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and mentoring the team to provide high-quality early years education with passion and energy.
- Supporting the Nursery Manager to ensure smooth nursery operations and consistent quality.
- Acting as a role model by promoting initiative, creativity, and high standards of care.
- Building strong relationships with families, colleagues, and external agencies to support the best outcomes for children.
- Overseeing the team’s implementation of the EYFS framework, ensuring engaging learning opportunities.
- Taking charge of nursery operations in the Nursery Manager’s absence.
- Encouraging continuous improvement through feedback and supporting professional development.
- Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that meets each child’s needs.
