Reconciliations Accountant

Reporting into a European Financial Controller of this global business, this is a newly created role to support the team in undertaking historical reconciliation projects.
The contract is outside IR35 and is paying up to £400 per day. It will run for at least 3 months and could potentially be extended. The role is predominantly remote/work from home with occasional visits into the Central London offices encouraged.
**Duties**:
- Undertaking historical reconciliation investigations
- Reconciling payments - ensuring the accounting system reflects the correct transactions
- Account reconciliations such as bank, inventory control and billings/general ledger reconciliations
- Issue receipts to customers on receipt of payments
- Generating month end reports
- Providing solutions to financial issues and offering new ways of working to efficiently complete finance tasks in Netsuite
- Collaborate with a small team of accounts professionals - some based in Bulgaria
**Requirements**:
- Strong experience in a senior finance role, especially working in a multinational business environment.
- Can do attitude, comfortable working and partnering with various stakeholders
- NetSuite and excellent MS Excel skills.
- Strong organisational skills, resourceful and able to prioritise work.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Flexible, teamwork attitude with the ability to understand business objectives.
- ACCA qualified (desirable) or equivalent
