The Person
To succeed as a Medical Secretary you will have;
A keen eye for detail.
Excellent typing skills
Experience as a medical secretary/typist
Strong secretarial skills.
Great communication abilities.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Be able to work individually as well as part of a team.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office whilst being comfortable working with numbers.

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.
