My client is an established manufacturer in Barnsley; offering a competitive salary and holiday allowance of 25 days.

Due to business needs they are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to work as part of the Finance team, providing purchase ledger support throughout the business and to act as a first point of contact for all purchase ledger enquiries.
- Responsible for the posting of all payments whether GBP or foreign currency along with direct debits for our client
- Coding invoices, sending for authorisation, authorising and filing and balancing supplier statements
- Matching invoices with delivery tickets
- Balancing to receipts audit trail (Q numbers)
- Liaising with purchasing regarding any price or delivery queries
- Posting to ledger and filing
- Paying suppliers & entering payments onto Bankline for authorisation
- Housekeeping of all our clients purchase ledger accounts including queries, open cash, reconciling statements.
- Close purchase ledger at month end including unauthorised.
- Checking and processing Concur (expense system) data.
