**Minerva Fabrics Ltd, are a multi award winning company and we're looking for Fabric Cutters to join our existing fulfilment team based in Darwen, Lancashire.**

**What we are looking for**

We are on the lookout for driven individuals who have a strong work ethic, who can work to targets in a fast-paced environment and subsequently be rewarded for their efforts through our competitive performance-based bonus scheme. You will need to be able to self-motivate and work to the highest of quality standards. Previous work within a target driven organisation is an advantage but not essential as full training will be carried out.

**What does the job involve?**

You will be required to assist in fulfilling customer’s orders including, but not limited to;
- Cutting fabric for orders
- Picking and packing orders
- Delivering stock within the warehouse
- Using our bespoke computerised system
- Carrying out stock checks
- Keeping the warehouse orderly, safe and tidy
You will need to have good attention to detail for matching product codes to orders and ensuring high levels of quality to ensure our customers receive their orders in immaculate condition. This job also requires a good level of physicality which will include moving heavy rolls of fabric throughout the warehouse.

**Essential skills**:

- Good standard of literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong communication skills with a good understanding of the English language
- Must be comfortable with heavy lifting and able to lift and carry heavy fabric rolls/boxes by following strict manual handing procedures
- Must be comfortable using ladders within the Warehouse
- Be computer literate and be able to follow online instructions
- Strong and clear attention to detail
- Ability to meet company targets whilst maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Ability to listen, understand and carry out instructions
- Must have a strong work ethic and a 'can-do' approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

**What will my working hours be?**

**Full-Time**

Monday 08:00-17:00

Tuesday-Saturday 09:00-17:00 (with one fixed day off during the week)

**What will my pay be?**

All 23 and over basic pay will start at £9.00 per/hour.

All under 23's basic pay will start on National Living Wage (dependant on age group). Upon completion of successful probation period, basic pay will increase to £9.00 per/hour.
