**About our client**
We are working with a leading entrepreneurial Lower Mid-Market Private Equity firm. Entrepreneurship is at the heart of this growing fund and has a particular focus on small and mid-sized businesses in the UK support services sector. Their portfolio compiledof a limited number of companies, allows the investment team to add considerable value and support their continued growth within the UK market.
Based in Glasgow, this is an excellent opportunity for an Investment Manager to assist on deal execution, with modest exposure to deal sourcing and portfolio management. The team is lean allowing for large amounts of responsibility and opportunity for growthfrom the start. You will play an active role within the investment team assisting on all aspects of the investment cycle.
**What the job involves**:

- You'll support the senior investment team with origination, execute investments and play a role in modelling investment opportunities
- Take specific responsibility for workstreams, and run parts of a transaction
- For each potential investment you'll help evaluate the key opportunities and risks associated with the investment
- Post investment, you'll support in portfolio valuations. This will include creating information packs, competitor analysis, sector exit multiples and quoted comparables

**Who we are looking for**:

- Likely a qualified accountant with experience in transaction services or corporate finance, with confidence in financial modelling
- An entrepreneurial streak, with a highly developed commercial understanding
- Ambition and drive for investments into the UK Mid-Market, with a forward-thinking approach for their success
- Strong academic background, excellent communication skills and attention to detail
