Your opportunity

We’re currently looking for a Quality Control Inspector at our Gosport Site in Gosport, Hampshire and you should be within reasonable commuting distance from here. You will be working on 7DC Shift Pattern.

What you’ll be doing

1. To take samples of paper products at predetermined intervals, usually hourly, and carry out defined functional leak testing following the current leak testing procedure for each product type. In the event of any failures, inform the operator and Team Leader and hold product back to last good check. Carry out any sorting of the held product to identify the defect product and identify as scrap.

2. To take samples of paper products at predetermined intervals, as defined in the test plan and carry out dimensional checks on the product as per the test program ensuring that the product meets the defined dimensional specification and tolerances. The results are logged into a Statistical Process Control computer program. Any defects should be reported to the operator and Team Leader.

3. To take samples of customer specific paper products and carry out customer specific testing of that product to the agreed specification. Any defects should be reported to the operator and Team Leader.
