As an Early Years Apprentice your role will involve:

- Working with children from 3 months to 5 years old

Supporting the staff as a member of the team and assisting where required

Planning, setting up and taking part in activities.

Following our policies and procedures

Update daily childcare diaries.

Assist with changing routines and personal hygiene.

Cleaning and maintenance of toys and nursery equipment

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to progress within the nursery.

**Qualifications**

Desired qualifications GCSE A* to C/9-4 in Math’s and English (or equivalent) is preferred or must be prepared to undertake Functional skills (at least level 1) in maths, English and ICT.

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you may be given the opportunity to progress within the nursery.

The role require a DBS or does it involve working in a regulated area

**Working hours**

8am to 4pm, however our opening hours are between 7.30am and 6pm so the applicant will need to be flexible as they may be required to start early or stay late on some days.

**Salary**: Up to £10,296.00 per year
