**Credit Controller**
Monday - Friday 9.00-5.00pm (1 hour paid lunchbreak)
Burgess Hill, office based only
£26,000 - £29,000 per annum dependant on experience
23 days annual leave
6 Months’ Probation period
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure that invoices issued to completed customers are paid in a timely manner, within company timescales
- Identifying causes for delays in collection of debt and proactively pursue relevant department assisting, in order to recover payment
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and prepare reports when requested
- Logging and taking payments on the company accounting software
- General administration support as the need arises
- Some general accounts support will be required
**Required Skills**:
- Previous office-based credit control experience in particular business to end consumer essential
- Can work independently and on own initiative
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good team player
- A proactive and organised approach to workload
- Ability to work alongside bookkeeper and cover accounting duties when required
Pay: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
