Administrator/clinical Coder

We are looking for a detail-orientated person to join our team Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 13:30 or Monday to Friday, 13:30 - 19:00

**About us**

We are a large Practice with around 13,000 Patients. Our clinical team consists of; 6 Partner GP's,3 Salaried GP's, 2 Physicians Associates, 2 Pharmacists, 2 Nurses and 4 Healthcare Assistants.

Our non-clinical team is made up of 10 receptionists, 9 administrators and 2 care coordinators.

**Job responsibilities**

The main aspect of the role is clinical coding, this entails:
Reading, coding and actioning letters received from places such as hospitals, walk-in centres and 111.

Summarising and computerising patients paper medical records.

Check GP2GP incoming records and action appropriately

Other duties will include:
Working towards QOF & IIF targets

Assisting GP's with general administive tasks required for Patient care

**Person Specification**

**Essential**
- Good written and spoken English
- Computer literate
- Basic Mathematics

**Desirable**
- Experience in an NHS setting/Primary Care
- Use of EMIS & Docman

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £10.00 per hour
