Job Introduction
We are looking for an administrator to be part of our team at West Lancashire. You will join a team who are focused on delivering impeccable administration duties to our staff and service users to really make our service users and staff feel the difference.

The role is 37.5 hours per week, working Monday - Friday.

You will be based at Clayton House, Burscough or Bickerstaffe House, Ormskirk Hospital.

Main Responsibilities
- Undertakes a range of delegated administrative duties to support the smooth running of the department. Works collaboratively with others in and outside of the immediate department as required.
- Demonstrates a rational and organised approach to work. May plan the order of own work but often works under supervision. Operates within a defined role / procedure. Completes standalone tasks or repetitive process activities. Accountable for own performance.
- Escalates issues for resolution with appropriate supervisors. Identifies areas for improvement and makes suggestions. Recommendations on solutions are encouraged.
- Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues within the organisation, in particular work with managers maintaining effective communication to ensure that statutory and other timescales for tasks are achieved

You will have a good all-round basic education, administrative experience in a busy, customer facing environment. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel.

A UK driving license and access to a car is essential.
