Nottingham, United Kingdom PeoplePlus Full time

Do you want to make a difference? Are you looking for a rewarding career supporting people and improving lives? We believe people are capable of change and deserve a second chance in life.

We are looking to recruit a permanent, part time **Student Support Administrator** that can provide a seamless administration service to our Adult Education team, engaging with our learners and offering a thorough and supportive induction as to the training & qualifications available within the prison.

**The Role**

Based from HMP Whatton, our **Student Support Administrators** are responsible for ensuring that our administration systems and processes operate efficiently whilst providing support to our learners, teaching and prison allocation teams. This role will focus on supporting the OPAL division working with retired prisoners.

As the first point of contact for prisoners you will play a key role in the induction process through promotion of courses and recruitment of learners as well as delivery of ongoing advice and guidance outlining the education and training available. You will also conduct initial assessments and act as a liaison for partner agencies and other key stakeholders.

The working hours for this role are Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 - 16:30.

**What are we looking for?**

You will need to demonstrate high ethical standards, take personal accountability for everything you do, maintain a customer first approach and always want to be the best. You should have relevant and recent experience in a similar role with an NVQ level 2 qualification in Business Administration, or equivalent (level 3 is desirable).

The salary for our administrators is based on experience and qualifications of the post holder, to be eligible for the top end of the band (£21,000 - £24,000) you will need to hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.

**What makes us unique?**

For us here at PeoplePlus reward means far more than just pay. Your total reward package as a PeoplePlus colleague includes a variety of different benefits as well as incentive and recognition schemes.
