We are looking for a Cafe Barista who is highly motivated, efficient and can create a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our Cafe. For this role their priority will be exceptional customer service, great coffee and an overall fantastic attention to detail. The role will also include some food and pastry preparation. They will also be a reliable and proactive team player who delivers excellent customer service and creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all of AIDA’s customers, with the key aim of creating and retaining customer loyalty.

CUSTOMER SERVICE
- Excellent coffee making and latte art skills Ability to dial in espresso and work with all equipment. Additional training will be provided
- Consistently providing great tasting coffee and tasty beverages Able to work quickly and efficiently during busy periods
- Provide outstanding customer service by being fully committed to addressing the needs of the customer
- Preparing pastries and sandwiches following company recipes and hygiene guidelines
- Ensuring products are displayed correctly and stocked INVENTORY
- Keeping track of daily wastage by filling out dedicated spreadsheets and communicating results to the store manager
- Making sure all products are correctly received from suppliers Storing and labelling any new inventory received in accordance to guidelines
- Assisting with daily stock takes

COMMUNICATION
- Delegating any tasks that need to be done outside of the working days to other baristas to complete
- Have great communication relationships with the Cafe Supervisor and the Store Manager
- Flag when products run out or need reordering if not yet done

ORGANIZATION & CLEANINESS
- Making sure the cafe area and back of house is tidy and organized at all times, and ensuring the right presentation to front of house when visible to customers
- Keeping daily and weekly cleaning checklists up to date
- Ensuring all fridge and frozen goods are stored and labeled correctly with use by dates and descriptions
- Ensuring the right supplies are ready for the following day of operations
- Adhering to health, safety and sanitation guidelines Looking after all equipment and maintain the highest standard of cleanliness
