**Legal Entity Controller - Management role - Listed Financial Services Group - Salary up to £90,000**

Leadership role working for a global brokerage in their London office. Broad set of responsibilities which will provide an excellent platform for personal progression and development internally.

**Responsibilities**:

- Closure of accounts for legal entities in line with IFRS and group accounting policy
- Partnership with 2nd line team to develop month-end process
- Oversight of monthly journal entries to GL, intercompany, prepaid and accrued expenses
- Review of balance sheets reconciliations and substantiation of balance sheet
- Supervise the business partnering team, providing leadership and direction.
- Support with budgets, forecasts and analysis.
- Understand costs across entities and support stakeholders.
- Build relationships with counterparts in other regions and disciplines
- Oversee compensation accounting process for UK and Non-UK payrolls
- Work effectively with Group Tax to provide financial data for Tax reporting.

**Experience**:

- Qualified Accountant with several years PQE
- Experience of working in Financial / Management Accounting within Financial Services
- Understanding of intercompany accounting in a service company
- Strong people skills including management and business partnering
- Attention to detail, hands-on approach and adaptability.
