As a Business development manager you will drive sales activities by creating great relationships with customers and
awareness of their needs and the products we can supply. You will take the lead in negotiating with
customers to win profitable orders.

We are a stockist and distributor of electrical components, supplying companies within the aerospace, defence, medical, industrial, rail and transportation markets throughout the world and is the ideal partner for Supplier Reduction Programmes.

**Description**

The key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
- Respond to customer requests for quotation, evaluate the options and issue quotes
- Track open quotations and negotiate to win profitable sales.
- Learn the needs and wants of key customers and position to be their favourite
supplier.
- Provide post-sales support to your customers to maximise repeat business.

**Profile**

A successful Business Development Manager will have the following
- Can communicate effectively in writing, verbally and through electronic media.
- Have a strong desire to succeed in satisfying customer needs and closing new business.
- Have great interpersonal skills and can build winning business relationships.
- Have an enquiring mind and seek to understand the functions and features of the components we deal with.
