**Responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)**:
- Capture high-quality photographic and video footage for property marketing purposes.
- Edit video content using software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and the Adobe Creative Suite to create polished final products.
- Collaboration with lettings, property management and property refurbishment teams to produce good quality marketing footage of properties.
- Manage all aspects of video production from pre-production planning through post-production editing.
- Maintain an organised library of footage and ensure all files are properly archived for future use.
- Key management, ensuring properties are secure on departure and left as they are found.
- Liaising with landlords and tenants where required.
- Using common sense when visiting properties and reporting any issues to the relevant line manager.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in videography and photography.
- The role may also require other creative video and photographic content tailored for various platforms, for example for social media management.
- Assisting the wider SPM team as required.
- Attending team meetings.
- Attending training sessions and courses for CPD.
**Person specification**:
- Proven experience in videography and photography is essential.
- Proficiency in photo editing using appropriate software.
- Experience in website editing is desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset are crucial for success in this role.
- Speak and write fluent English with evidenced Right to Work in the UK. A command of other languages is of benefit, but not essential.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete busy workload effectively.
- Ability to show adaptability within role and use own initiative.
- Productive and pro-active thinking.
- Creative thinker who can demonstrate innovation to our SPM working environment.
- Experience in property lettings/estate agency is preferred.
- Able to innovate and identify improvements to the service offered.
- Keen eye for detail and good timekeeping.
- A personable touch to find solutions (particularly in larger HMO properties).
- Self-driven to complete tasks - able to work on own as well as part of a team.
- A positive problem-solving attitude towards role, and the ability to maintain positivity, especially when challenges arise.
- Being professional.
- Knowledge of GDPR and Office 365 and TEAMS.
- A full, clean driving licence preferred with no more than 3 penalty points. Minimum of 2 years driving experience desirable.
- The use of company vehicle with parking permit will be available during working hours.
- Good navigational / geographic knowledge of the Edinburgh and Lothians area is desirable.

**Working Hours & Environment**
- **Part-time 16-24 hours (2-3 days per week) between 08:00 - 17:00hrs or 08:30 - 17:30hrs Monday to Thursday and 08:00 - 17:00 on Friday**(including 1 hour’s unpaid breaks). This position will be based at our Edinburgh central office however the role will require ad-hoc travel to other locations. Flexibility will be required with regards to hours of work to suit the needs of the business and colleagues.
- The role also requires 1 Saturday a month (4-5 hours), on a rota basis - typically from 8.30am to 12.30pm pay for these days is included in annual salary and Saturdays can be swapped to suit.
**Salary/Benefits/Working Hours**:
- Starting salary - **£28,000 - £33,000** (FTE, pro-rata for part-time), including 1 hour of unpaid breaks, paid in arrears on the 2nd last working day of the month, including Saturday rota. Salaries are reviewed on an annual basis. Please note that from October 2024 standard full-time hours, as a trial, will be reduced to 37.5 hours per week.
- SouthSide will cover the costs associated with the studying and exams to be a member of ARLA. As the studying for the ARLA qualification takes place in personal time and requires a commitment from you, upon successful completion and achievement of the qualification, you will receive an additional £1,000 on your annual salary (the following month). Should you leave the company within 3 years of the ARLA a pro-rata amount of the cost incurred for the ARLA qualification will be recovered. Should you leave and you relinquish your qualific
