**Brief overview of role**

Are you a people person with a passion for numbers? Based in Nottingham, JSB Accountants are looking to hire an apprentice to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will process end to end payroll, calculate statutory deductions, respond to payroll queries and work towards taking ownership for your own client list.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Administration of weekly/monthly payrolls.
- Onboarding of new clients.
- Requesting relevant company information.
- Carrying out payroll and auto enrolment duties
- Running weekly/monthly payslips.
- Updating company accountancy software with company/director information.

**Training**

Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be awarded an Advanced Apprenticeship in Payroll Administration (Accredited by CIPP)

The programme is delivered via a blend of tutor led workshops and On-Demand learning via the CIPP online learning platform.

Workshops include:

- National Insurance
- PAYE
- Statutory Sick Pay
- Statutory Parental Payments
- Apprenticeship Levy
- Student Loans
- Construction Industry Scheme
- Employment law and Payroll

**Career Progression**
- Progression onto Level 4

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: £12,675.00 per year
