**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assess the health and condition of trees, providing recommendations for care and maintenance.
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and felling as required, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
- Maintain and irrigate landscaped areas to promote healthy growth.
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks including digging, cutting, and shaping trees.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities to enhance the overall appearance of grounds.
- Build supports or structures as necessary to ensure tree stability.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular checks and mechanical knowledge.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in tree surgery or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
- Familiarity with groundskeeping practices and landscape maintenance techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- A valid driving licence may be required for transportation to job sites.
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in arboriculture or horticulture would be advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £120.00 per day

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
