The Social Media Officer position is a vital part of the marketing team in ensuring outward facing marketing communications are performed in a timely and effective manner to deliver the companies message to the public. The position works in parallel to all marketing activities to ensure the company is seen as being helpful and engaged with the community in which they serve at all times.

**Location **MS3 Networks, Owen house, Owen Avenue, Priory Park West, HU13 9PD

**Role & Responsibilities of the Social Media Officer**:

- Scheduling and publishing posts
- Creating engaging content
- Replying to comments in line with the social media response policy
- Replying to direct messages in line with the social media response policy
- Responding to questions (in comment or message format) in line with company guidance
- Reporting any complaints that require Build Team responses through the ZenDesk ticketing system
- Replying to complaints (in comment or message format) once resolved to turn complainers in to customers
- Ensuring the company’s image is upheld as being “forward thinking, friendly, professional and helpful” in all responses, posts and comments
- Set up and establishing MS3 Networks on emerging platforms other than the big 4 (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & LinkedIn).
- Ensuring Residential Contact Strategy requirements are met through social media
- Engaging with local community groups in the areas we serve

This role is not one to be undertaken alone and the marketing team members are there to assist with creation and design of required material where necessary along with brainstorming and idea creation.

There will be regular contact with the Marketing Manager to assist with initial concepts, planning and actioning of ideas before meeting with the Marketing Manager and Sales and Marketing Director to present projects for approval.

**Community Engagement**

As a secondary function within the role of Social Media Officer, you will assist the Community Engagement officers in liaising with business and residents regarding our upcoming build along with attending events representing MS3 Networks as part of the Marketing Team.

**Essential Skills and Experience**
- Experience within a similar position where you have had to be methodical and analytical.
- Good communicator with a ‘can-do’ attitude.
- Strong organisational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong sense of time management
- Experience in managing social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn & Instagram)

**Essential Qualifications**
- Excellent communications skills
- Competent with Microsoft Office packages

**Working Hours**

Flexible working hours are available in line with the companies requirements for engagement. Normal working hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with further hours outside this time, including weekend work when required given back in leu.

MS3 is an existing fibre network operator based in the Kingston-Upon-Hull area with plans to pass over 500,000 homes and businesses with full-fibre. As a wholesale-only provider, MS3 will enable its existing and future ISP clients to provide up to 10Gb connections to end-customers, building on their existing fibre ring through Hull and to more than 30 other locations in the region.
