We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Branch Manager for a well respected Builders Merchants. The Branch Manager must match the companies ambition along with exceptional customer service skills and strong sales drive.
**What will I be doing?**
As Branch Manager / Depot Manager you will have responsibility for the day to day management of a branch. We are looking for a strong all rounder with a good sales drive and a good knowledge of the local area.
Primary responsibilities are driving the growth of the business, staff development and coaching and ensuring that health and safety is adhered to at all times. As a Branch Manager / Depot Manager you will be commercially astute with a proven ability to influencestaff members and drive sales.
Working closely with your Assistant Branch Manager and Directors, as Branch Manager your role is to continually improve the profitable sales and margins within the branch, as well as developing a highly customer focused, results driven team.
**What skills do I need?**
- Proven experience of management within the merchant sector
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- Strong knowledge of building materials
- Successful track record of being a Branch Manager / Depot Managert within the construction supply sector
- Assistant Manager looking to take the step as a Branch Manager / Depot Manager
