We are recruiting for a Data Protection Apprentice to join the Legal Services Team. To assist and support the Group Data Protection Officer (DPO) with the management of Data Protection across the Group, for example this may include processing individual right requests and data breach investigations and administrative tasks dependant on business needs.

**This is an important role in which you will**:

- Support the Group DPO with the management of Data Protection across the Group
- Liaise with Customer and colleagues where necessary
- Organise and prioritise tasks in order to resolve areas of concern such as individual rights and breach management
- Support the Group DPO and Legal Team in any administrative tasks
- Support with the writing or updating of data protection policies and procedures
- Gain a qualification in Data Protection which is a highly regulated, well respected and growing area.
- Work within a large Group structure supporting the Group DPO with a varied workload in data protection.

**To be successful in this role you will**:

- Able to work towards and achieve the Level 4 qualification in Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner
- Good standard of education evidenced by GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths.
- Be well organised and able to prioritise workloads
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrate good levels of IT skills
- Be passionate, committed and self-motivated.
