Trainee Bench Locksmith

With over 40 years’ experience in the security industry, our family run business works with a wide range of domestic and commercial clients to deliver security solutions.

Our security systems include Intruder alarms, Fire alarms and CCTV.

We are a Master Locksmiths installing door entry systems, fitting, and supplying quality brands locks. Creation of car keys: transponder, ignition, and coded keys to match the locks.

We are SSAIB accredited and members of the Master Locksmiths Association.

We are looking to recruit a Trainee Bench Locksmith / - General Shop Hand to work alongside one of our Locksmith’s at our Shop in Dewsbury

Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (30 mins lunch)

**Duties include**:
Various key cutting types

Repair and pinning of locks

Dealing with customer enquiries in shop

Working with electronic and manual key cutting machines

Vehicle lock and remote key repairs

General cleaning duties

Dealing with stock deliveries

Taking phone enquiries

May be required on site visits with our engineers (Driving Licence would be an advantage but not necessary)

**The person**:
Able to use own initiative and ability to prioritise and multi-task

Strong IT skills

Good customer service skills

Job Type : Full-time Salary : Wage to be negotiated.

**Salary**: £9.50 per hour

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dewsbury, WF13 1NA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
