**Nourish Contract Catering are looking for a reliable and passionate kitchen Assistant to join us, who have a passion for assisting in preparing and cooking healthy lunches within school a secondary school, for 25 hours a week, Monday-Friday.**

We are looking for a passionate Kitchen Assistant, so whether your children are in school, you have a passion for food and cooking or you are looking for something different and a new career; Nourish would love to hear from you. - Nourish is a privately owned, family-run contract catering company, with over two decades of school meal development, we are passionate about providing the most nutritious meals that children and students want to eat._

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in following our cooks notes, prepare, cook and/or bake healthy and nutritious meals, side dishes and desserts for school pupils and teaching staff.
- Assist with various tasks to support the smooth operation with lunch-time in schools
- Serve healthy lunches to pupils and teaching staff in a timely and efficient manner

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the catering industry is required. Qualifications is preferred but, not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Team-focused person with a desire to do their best work, every day

**Job Type**: Permanent

Expected hours: minimum 25 per week
