Trainee Welder/fabricator

**Job Summary**
We are seeking a trainee Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and develop their skills in welding and fabrication in a supportive environment. In house training will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Welding and Fabrication**:

- Learn and use basic welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC) to join and fabricate metal parts.
- Follow drawings and instructions to complete tasks.

**Material Preparation**:

- Cut, shape, and prepare metal using tools like saws and grinders.
- Smooth finished welds for painting or other finishes.

**Quality Control**:

- Check finished work for accuracy and quality.
- Fix any mistakes under supervision.

**Equipment Maintenance**:

- Keep tools and welding equipment clean and in good working order.
- Report any issues to the supervisor.

**Safety**:

- Always follow safety rules and wear the right protective gear.

**Teamwork**:

- Work with other team members to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and ask for help when needed.

**Working hours**:
Hours: Five days a week 8 am - 5 pm.

Breaks: There will be two 15-minute paid breaks and 1 hr lunch (unpaid)

Holidays: 28 days per year to include any bank holidays.

Salary based on experience.

You will be paid statutory sick pay for any time off work sick.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
