**Job Title**: Field Care Supervisor

**Purpose of Role**:
The Field Care Supervisor is a key member of the care delivery team, responsible for ensuring high standards of care through direct staff supervision, service quality assurance, and effective coordination with the office team. This role supports service users and care staff in the community to maintain safe, person-centred, and high-quality care delivery.

**Key Responsibilities:Service User Support**:

- Conduct regular **spot checks**, **welfare checks**, and **quality assurance visits** in clients' homes.
- Complete and review **care plans**, **risk assessments**, and ensure accurate person-centred documentation is maintained.
- Participate in and lead **pre-assessment visits** for prospective clients.
- Monitor service user satisfaction and escalate any concerns or changes in needs.

**Staff Supervision & Development**:

- Carry out regular **supervisions**, **appraisals**, and **observations** of care staff in line with company policy.
- Provide **shadowing support** and **competency sign-off** for new and existing care staff.
- Identify training needs and feed into staff development plans.
- Promote good practice and ensure all staff uphold company values and CQC standards.

**Operational Support**:

- Assist with **rota management**, ensuring safe and effective staff deployment.
- Support the office team and **Care Coordinators** with daily operational challenges and care continuity.
- Conduct internal **audits** to monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

**Emergency Cover**:

- Provide **emergency care cover** when needed, including last-minute changes, no-shows, or out-of-hours support.
- Be available to respond to urgent issues in the field and escalate as appropriate.

**Team & Business Support**:

- Build strong relationships with clients, families, staff, and external professionals.
- Support new branch development or service expansion, including children’s or complex care packages as required.
- Undertake any additional duties as may reasonably be required to meet the needs of the business.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Experience in a supervisory role within the domiciliary care sector.
- Excellent understanding of care planning, risk assessments, and person-centred care.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and best practice in community care.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards).
- Excellent communication, time management, and IT skills.

**Desirable**:

- Experience supporting children, complex needs, or end-of-life care.
- Competency in rostering software (e.g., PASS, CarePlanner, Staffplan).

Pay: £13.00 per hour
