£10-£14 p/h (dependant on experience) on a flexible full time/ part time basis, must be available to work weekends, weekdays and evenings. Must be passionate about customer service, have good energy and be fun outgoing.

**Available immediately** - We are seeking a Senior Events Host to join a busy team and lead on the delivery of numerous events. Your role will be to provide quality organisation and a warm welcome, direct to clients and guests, managing expectations in a busy and fast paced environment. Also important to have a friendly nature, can do attitude and an eye for detail.

**What We’re Looking For**

We are looking for a competent, flexible Event manager to oversee events at The Boathouse London. You’ll ensure events are successful, well managed and run smoothly with excellent customer service.

This will currently be based on 2 of our boats in Paddington mainly and 1 boat in Canary Wharf. This role entails flexibility in out-of-hours working in order to support certain events. Time off in lieu (TOIL) will be allocated for an event on a case-by-case basis.

**What You’ll Be Doing**

**Onsite Management**
- Set up event from start to finish according to requirements
- Act as a key holder at events ensuring that security of the building and site is maintained at all times including locking up at the end of the event.
- Develop professional relationships with the onsite client partners.
- Coordinate all operations
- Supervise all staff (wait staff, caterers etc.)
- Approve all aspects before the day of the event making sure everyone has the correct information
- Ensure event is completed smoothly and take pride in finding solutions to guests needs and assume any responsibility for any issues looking to resolve any problems in the best way possible.
- Analyse the event’s success and prepare reports
- Skilled in project management
- Outstanding communication and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Responsible for maintaining a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas, in line with industry best practice and recommend any changes/requirements necessary to the Director.
- Ensures that health and safety standards are maintained and action/report any hazards, as necessary.
- To be fully conversant with the site’s emergency procedures.

**Here’s What We’re Looking For**
- 2 years’ experience in the service and hospitality industry (experience in the luxury or premium luxury sector is preferable)
- Knowledge of all market segments i.e. corporate, conference
- Provide exceptional customer service that exceeds our customers' expectations.
- Respect the standards of our brand through the service provided to customers, your attitude, your behaviour and your dress code.
- Develop product knowledge, including manufacture, materials, maintenance and design in order to provide competent customer service.
- Be proactive in order to help the team achieve its objectives or solve problems.
- Demonstrates high attention to detail and strong strategic planning skills
- Creates pride in team to deliver consistent guest experience
- Fluent English

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 2 years (preferred)
