**Business Administrator | Spire Thames Valley Hospital | Part time | Permanent**
Spire Thames Valley Hospital are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to work in the Business office on a full time and permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team and have a great impact.
As a Business Administrator you will ensure the provision and maintenance of an efficient hospital charging service within the hospital and undertake basic financial processes in accordance with procedures as required.
**Duties and responsibilities**
- Uses life skills and introductory administration, record keeping, and finance experience developed ‘on the job.’
- Is responsible for following instructions and acting in line with procedures relating to hospital finance administration priorities.
- Follows all standard operating procedures under close supervision, e.g. resolving queries and issues raised by patients, consultants and vendors, contacting patients and insurers, accurately inputting departmental charges on patient accounts, and ensuring financial records are updated by month end.
- Exercises judgement to a very limited extent, with any substantial deviations being referred to their Team Lead.
**Who we're looking for**
- Delivers transactional and administrative activity in a commercial environment.
- Someone who is highly organised and accurate and works well to tight deadlines
- Experience working in a similar environment would be beneficial but by no means necessary as full training will be provided
- Must be a good communicator and have good computer literacy
- Someone who works well as part of a team
**Working Hours**:15 hours per week - 3 hrs per day Can be flexible re working hours
**Contract Type**:Perm
