Tax Consultant

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation.
- Provide expert advice on tax planning strategies to minimise liabilities and optimise financial outcomes for clients.
- Analyse financial statements and reports to identify potential tax issues or opportunities for clients.
- Assist clients with accounts payable processes and ensure accurate record-keeping within accounting software.
- Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive tax planning that align with their goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Tax Consultant or in a similar role within the accountancy profession
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax data effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain intricate tax concepts clearly to clients.
- A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ACA) is advantageous but not essential.
