**Careers Advisor**

**3 positions available - 6-month fixed term contracts (very strong possibility will lead to permanent)**
- **£26,000 and £29,545 per annum** (dependent on experience) with these great benefits:

Location: Remote working but then travel to Chester or Warrington dependent on which area you live more locally to - all travel expenses paid
- Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm

**Key Responsibilities**
- We are seeking Career Advisors to work remotely from home, then travel to community-based centres in Warrington or Chester - whichever is closest to where you reside

- **The National Careers Service programme, which provides tailored free, personalised information, advice, and guidance to help individuals to get into work and progress their career**:

- **As part of being a Careers Advisor you’ll make our participants feel welcome and comfortable when they are first referred to our programme. You’ll need to be able to engage with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences. You’ll hold1-1 and group-based learning session in a wide range of settings, including careers events, jobs fairs, pop up venues on the labour market, addressing barriers to gaining employment, improving skills**:

- **We need your skills to empower and encourage participants to create a career skills action plan and support them in their learning and development whilst monitoring their progress to build their confidence throughout their journey to success.**:

- **Develop relationships with key stakeholders to maximise referrals I,e Job centre plus, work coaches, community provision**:

- **This is a rewarding role that will allow you to utilise your current skills to influence, support and encourages others to build a future, and will also allow us to become better with your unique experiences.**

**Skills and Experience**
- Must hold a level 4 IAG (this is essential for the role)
