The Telegraph Media Group is seeking a Picture Researcher to join its busy picture desk. Based in Victoria and reporting to the Features Picture Editor, you will be working on the day to day picture research across The Telegraph and Telegraph Magazine.

You will be a highly motivated self-starter, quick to learn, resourceful, a lateral thinker who is unflappable in the highly pressured environment of digital and print publications.
Key responsibilities
- Working across all areas of the Telegraph picture desk from magazine, lifestyle and news
- Sourcing images that will work across print and digital platforms
- Requesting images from PRs and publishers
- Captioning images concisely and correctly

Key skills
- Experience of prioritising and successfully managing numerous projects simultaneously
- Work quickly and accurately to tight deadlines and under pressure
- The ability to conceptualise visual ideas and interpret creative briefs
- Relevant contacts with picture libraries and agencies
- Strong interest in news and current affairs, arts and lifestyle.
